Effective Date: July 28, 2026

Welcome to Carol’s Affordable Curriculum. These Terms, Conditions & Privacy Policy govern your use of our website, online store, products, digital downloads, services, customer accounts, email communications, and SMS/MMS messaging programs.

By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, downloading a product, enrolling in a recurring program, or using our services, you agree to the terms below.

Part One: Terms and Conditions

1. About Carol’s Affordable Curriculum

Carol’s Affordable Curriculum provides affordable early childhood curriculum, educational materials, activity guides, assessment tools, professional resources, digital products, and related services for childcare providers, early childhood programs, preschools, homeschoolers, educators, and families.

Throughout this policy:

  • “Carol’s Affordable Curriculum,” “CAC,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Carol’s Affordable Curriculum.
  • “You,” “your,” and “customer” refer to the person or organization using our website, purchasing our products, or using our services.

2. Eligibility and Account Information

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to place an order or use our services.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when:

  • Creating an account
  • Placing an order
  • Enrolling in a recurring payment program
  • Subscribing to email or SMS/MMS communications
  • Contacting customer service

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password and for promptly updating your billing, shipping, payment, email, and telephone information.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display our products. Product colors, illustrations, photographs, dimensions, packaging, included materials, and other details may vary slightly.

Curriculum themes, activities, designs, components, and included materials may change due to availability, safety, quality, printing, production, or educational considerations.

Age ranges and developmental recommendations are general guidelines. Parents, educators, and childcare providers are responsible for determining whether a product or activity is appropriate for the children in their care.

Adult supervision is required when using our curriculum materials and activities.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices, promotions, discounts, availability, shipping costs, and product details may change without notice.

Payment is due at the time of purchase unless you are participating in an approved:

  • Automatic charge program
  • Prepaid curriculum program
  • Recurring order
  • Subscription
  • Invoicing arrangement
  • Other authorized payment plan

By placing an order, you authorize Carol’s Affordable Curriculum and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for:

  • Products and services
  • Shipping and handling
  • Applicable taxes
  • Authorized recurring charges
  • Other amounts disclosed at the time of purchase

We may delay, cancel, or refuse an order if payment cannot be processed, information cannot be verified, or we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorized activity.

5. Automatic Charge and Recurring Programs

Customers enrolled in an automatic charge, recurring curriculum, subscription, or similar program authorize Carol’s Affordable Curriculum to charge the payment method on file according to the schedule disclosed at enrollment.

The amount charged may vary based on:

  • Curriculum selected
  • Number of children
  • Product options
  • Shipping
  • Applicable taxes
  • Approved order changes

Customers are responsible for submitting quantity changes, cancellations, and account updates by the stated deadline.

Changes received after the deadline may not take effect until the following order cycle.

Ending a recurring program does not automatically cancel an order that has already been processed, prepared, printed, customized, packaged, or shipped.

For assistance, call 877-746-8128 during regular business hours.

6. Prepaid Programs and Discounts

Prepaid curriculum programs and advance-purchase discounts apply only to the term and products identified at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, prepaid discounts:

  • Cannot be combined with other offers
  • Have no cash value
  • Are not transferable
  • Apply only to the original customer or licensed program
  • May have different cancellation or refund requirements

Any approved refund for a prepaid program may be recalculated using the regular monthly price for products already fulfilled, along with applicable shipping, handling, customization, and processing charges.

7. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

An order confirmation does not guarantee final acceptance of an order.

We reserve the right to limit, refuse, cancel, or refund an order when:

  • A product is unavailable
  • Payment cannot be processed
  • Pricing or product information contains an obvious error
  • The order appears fraudulent or unauthorized
  • The order violates these terms
  • We cannot fulfill the order as submitted

Customers should contact us as soon as possible to request cancellation.

We cannot guarantee cancellation after an order has entered:

  • Production
  • Printing
  • Assembly
  • Customization
  • Packaging
  • Digital delivery
  • Shipment

8. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.

Carol’s Affordable Curriculum is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Postal or delivery carriers
  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Labor disruptions
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Government actions
  • Supply shortages
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Additional shipping charges may apply if an order must be reshipped because the customer supplied an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failed to retrieve the package.

Please contact us promptly regarding missing, damaged, incomplete, or incorrectly delivered orders.

9. Returns, Refunds, and Order Problems

Return and refund eligibility may vary by product type. Product-specific terms shown on a product page, order form, invoice, promotion, or program agreement are incorporated into these terms.

Unless required by law, the following products may be nonreturnable or subject to limited return eligibility:

  • Digital downloads
  • Downloadable or fillable forms
  • Opened curriculum packages
  • Used, copied, printed, or altered materials
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Products prepared for a specific number of children
  • Clearance, discontinued, or final-sale products
  • Orders that have already been processed
  • Shipping and handling charges

Contact us promptly if an order is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.

We may request photographs, packaging information, order details, or other reasonable documentation before issuing a replacement, credit, or refund.

Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

10. Digital Downloads and Electronic Products

Digital products are licensed, not sold.

Digital products may include:

  • PDF files
  • Fillable forms
  • Assessment tools
  • Curriculum materials
  • Activity guides
  • Templates
  • Software
  • Instructional materials
  • Other electronic content

Unless otherwise stated, purchasing a digital product grants the original purchaser a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the product within the purchaser’s own household, classroom, childcare program, business, or organization.

Digital products may not be:

  • Resold
  • Sublicensed
  • Rented
  • Redistributed
  • Shared with another business, program, facility, or organization
  • Uploaded to public websites or social media
  • Uploaded to shared drives or file-sharing services
  • Emailed to individuals outside the licensed program
  • Used to create competing products
  • Modified to remove copyright notices, licensing information, or watermarks

A digital product described as allowing “unlimited use” may be used an unlimited number of times only by the original licensed purchaser and within the licensed household, classroom, childcare program, or organization.

Unlimited use does not allow sharing, resale, redistribution, or transfer.

By downloading or accessing a digital product, you agree to its applicable license and terms of use.

11. Printed Curriculum and Reproduction Rights

Carol’s Affordable Curriculum products are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Unless written permission is provided or a product expressly includes reproduction rights, customers may not:

  • Copy
  • Scan
  • Photograph
  • Reproduce
  • Publish
  • Sell
  • Distribute
  • Share

our printed or electronic materials.

Any authorized copying is limited to the number of children, classrooms, locations, or users covered by the customer’s purchase or license.

A purchase for one classroom, childcare program, business, household, or location does not automatically authorize use at additional locations or affiliated programs.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content and products—including curriculum, lesson plans, activities, assessments, text, illustrations, photographs, graphics, logos, trademarks, product names, forms, downloads, software, designs, and compilations—are owned by or licensed to Carol’s Affordable Curriculum.

Except for the limited rights granted with a purchase, no ownership rights are transferred to the customer.
